Family benefit cap? Empty Family benefit cap?

Post by Steve Thu Apr 04 2013, 16:43

After reading Philpott familie was getting around 4k a month in benefits is it time to debate this subject?

should there be a set limit of benefit you should be able to claim dont matter how may kids you have got?

I think there should be cap on what people can claim, i'm not saying people cant have 13 kids that fine but they shouldn't be allow to claim silly amount of benefits. when there are people out that who really need help.

Most definitely , I really don't see why I should be having to keep forking out from my taxes just because people want to work the system in the best way possible

I think all benefits should be looked at, and after watching 16 kids and counting it outraged me even more but look at hook hand and so many other cases, its just so wrong that people can earn more money living off the state in our country than full time workers! Something is very wrong there.

there should be a set limit on how many kids you can claim if you have 5/6 kids and you want to claim benefit because you lost your joke then you have to work par time some where also

I think so. I mean, having kids costs money, and if you're responsible parents who want lots of kids, as hard as it may be, you'd want to wait until you can financially support them. The ones who just have loads of kids because they're idiots and get money for it is unfair on the people who aren't like that. The downside would be that less money for them means that it'd be the kids who are suffering.
