ouch
Well we know what loons our staffords can be. I was walking the garden just now and heard Roxy and Vinny flying up behind me. With my foot still messed up from falling over on it, I got out the way but wasn't quick enough - Roxy swept behind me, knocking me off my feet and landing with a thud on my backside and arm which are already coming up in bruises
But that's fine. As I fell Rox grazed the outside of one thigh and inside of the other and they look really sore, bloody and bruised. I feel soooooooo bad And yet - she has carried on playing and stood like a perfect angle to have her sores disinfected and cream put on. My poor pup.
Is there anything else I could put on them or should I leave her be if they're not bothering her?

What are they like?
I'd leave them & let them heal on their own as long as they're not bothering her.

Re: ouch
Yea best just leaving them. Logan loves injuring himself too.
Hope ya aren't hurt too bad.

A bit sore, more worried about Roxy. I wish we humans had the pain threshold they do!

Re: ouch
I often wonder whether there is a way to stop my dog colliding into other people. I have a dread of him knocking over an older or blind person.

Re: ouch
Get well soon, both of you
If it's any consolation, I took Milton to the beach today and while playing with his toy, he managed to jump to get it and rugby tackled me right in my 'gentleman's vegetables'. Then a couple of minutes later he jumped again to get the toy, missed and bit me on the bum only quite gently though (luckily for me!) but he was very apologetic and kept stopping playing to come and lick my hand

What are they like! But big luvbugs at the end of the day - the spot where Roxy and I fell : she went straight to it the next morning to give it licks.
