Ouch!

Every now and then, I play a (very) rough game with Dempsey on the sofa. It started off ages ago when I shoved his bum and he thought I wanted him to get off the sofa, so he started skipping around on the sofa and throwing himself to and fro.

Ever since then, a tap on his bum sends him into play mode on the sofa. A part of this game is using a 'claw-hand' on his neck, which he seems to love. He scoots about with shark eyes and his mouth open, snapping at air. But he never makes contact with my hand - usually.

Yesterday, we were playing the game and he misjudged the distance and accidentally got my hand. He dropped to his belly like he'd been stung. I tried to reassure him that he wasn't in trouble, while my hand felt like it had been crushed by a Great White shark!

Usually, the most that ever happens is that he comes a little close to nipping, and then starts licking my hand.

Awww poor Dempsey ><

He forgot all about it within half an hour! Although he did follow me out of the living room with a guilty-waggy tail when I went to get some ice for my hand.

Bless there guilty faces when they think and to a point no that they have done wrong, I don't think they understand accidents lol! Xx

As far as he was concerned, he'd bitten somebody and was going to get shouted at. Poor thing.

To go along with her taped together fingers only 2 left to go (assuming it's the same hand) poor Dempsey feels guilty Eleanor makes a hobby out of hurting fingers

Actually, the taped fingers were my fourth and fifth digits! These fingers are my middle and index. Full house now!
