Puppy love
Saffys lurcher friend from next door came round to play today but was more interested in trying to get jiggy than play.
She finished her season a week ago and we gave her a bath but she obviously still smells good to dogs.
I would like to go back to walking her normally but am a bit concerned about her being pestered. She wasn't too pleased with his advances and I'd like to avoid her having to be grouchy with strangers dogs.
Anyone have any tips to make her smell less interesting?

Re: Puppy love
Sorry I don't know of anything that will work other than going out at times when there won't be alot of other dogs.

Re: Puppy love
Same as jstaff really, I'd just say to walk her at quieter times or places where you know there aren't going to be any/many dogs for now.

Re: Puppy love
Ok, thanks
We're both really missing our walks in the park and on the common but way too many off lead dogs there.
Will give it a few more days and another play date, quite handy really, hopefully he'll let us know when its ok to go back to normal

Re: Puppy love
Sorry then maybe like others have said she needs a little more time to loose that "scent"
Steff still got a lot of attention at the park until I wash practically anything she had been in contact with even my bedding, cushion covers etc then she was left alone

Oh dear, I don't think there's much in the house she doesn't lay/roll around on.
I best get washing
