freaking out

so i was watching the news and it came up with a story that a teenager was killed by three staffys at her friends house.

please tell me that they are not going to ban the breed as i couldn have another dog taken from me

It wasn't 3 staffys and no it doesn't mean they will do anything like this

just read through the article dave this is part of it (i mis heard it )

"jade Anderson, 14, was discovered after being attacked by dogs at a house in Chaucer Grove, Atherton.

It is thought that she was alone with four dogs - two of which are believed to be Staffordshire bull terriers, which is not a banned breed - which were later shot by police marksmen. A fifth dog was also contained at the scene."

It was 5 dogs, 2 Bull Mastiffs, 2 staffies and another.

No staffs won't get band but it's another nail in the coffin

Nah. The media is always trying to depict Staffs in a bad light, it's just part of the stupidity of society, unfortunately. The government aren't just gonna suddenly announced that Staffs are banned, don't worry about it.

It's been on the news all day mate over here There will be knee jerk reactions , and as other people have already pointed out there will be additional scowls whilst out walking , I get double

It'll not come to another banned breed. There was enough mess made by the Pitbull ban. Tragic story but after this there needs to be something more done than just ban. Not gonna happen, don't worry about it.

No worries fella. Just best not worrying. I worried myself sick after "The One Show's" thing about Staff's a while ago and it does ya no good.
