frozen vs thawed food
Does it make a difference if you feed your dog frozen or thawed out food? I only ask as I gave Brutus a frozen goat leg yesterday and i noticed that smaller pieces broke off as he chewed. Is a frozen bone similar to a cooked one?
We do give him mainly thawed foods, but things like pigs trotters are frozen as it keeps him entertained for 30 mins or so. A usually satisfied pups comes in to the house, sits on his bed, burps then goes to sleep.

Frozen isn't a problem as far as I know! It's often advised to use frozen bones if your dog tends to swallow rather than chew.

Re: frozen vs thawed food
I found that frozen meats are good at keeping him busy. But i might start and defrost his bones a bit and see how he goes with that.
Cheers
