Galaxy Ace Plus phone advice...
Does anyone rate a blackberry curve? Been offered a great deal which includes the net. 800 mins unlimited texts and net for £15 p/m?
http://www.virginmobile.com/vm/viewProduct.do?productId=23541828
Its with virgin but thats just a pic not the tariff. Any advice welcome, ideally I wanted an iphone but get a great contract with virgin as I have been with them for years and they don't do iphones.
Thoughts please clever ones Xx

My Dad got one on his contract a while back and it seems really good. But the buttons are very small and hard to type anything I find.

I don't know much about phones ......My daughter has the curve and she loves it...I don't like the small keys personally...she has never had any technical problems with it.

Re: Galaxy Ace Plus phone advice...
The blackberrys are ok, but not brilliant. My oh had a curve & now has a bold, but he has trouble getting the internet up at times. My boss had a bold & the cursor stopped working after a couple of months (I've heard that's a common problem) although my oh hasn't had any real probs apart from the internet.

Anything is better than mine, just wanted opinions, I usually only use it for calls/texts but with this traiff I get the net which I can't use on my phone ...
have 5 days to change to a better tariff with a blackberry but yes there for 2 years but have been with them for 15 now anyway, hence why I think its a good deal?

if you think the allowance would suit and you wouldnt run over (mines unlimited on everything as one month can be diff to the next) then go for it. the blackberry is very business type of phone, i wouldsay iphone if you can get or a samsung

God you guys don't help!! Is a blackberry good or not, its a great tariff, but I have never been in a contract!
Blackberry Curve, Unlimited texts/internet, 800min calls, £15 p/m, 24 month contract? Yay or nay!
Iphone out the question, even though I love it!!

I have to have internet access on my phone!
But even so, I wouldn't personally recommend the blackberry. There are other, better phones that you can get good deals with.

Re: Galaxy Ace Plus phone advice...
Depends how much you want to pay!
I love the windows phones, but they're a bit pricey. The Samsung Galaxy II is supposed to be very good, and as it's now been overtaken by the Galaxy III (or an even more recent model) it usually quite cheap.

Re: Galaxy Ace Plus phone advice...
IMO Janey, I wouldn't bother with a blackberry. As an iPhone is off the list, I would lean towards the galaxy. My OH has the galaxy s3 and loves it. Bearing in mind she had a blackberry beforehand. I personally prefer full touch screen. But, on the other hand that tariff is bang on. But, be careful as it does say unlimited Internet, it will most prob be fair usage. So if ur always on it watching tv etc, u start gettin grief. Samsung galaxy s3 on that tariff! Winner!

Re: Galaxy Ace Plus phone advice...
I had two BlackBerrys, first was a Bold 9000, which I upgraded to a Bold 9700. I kept that one for about a month before changing it to a Samsung Galaxy S2 - the browser's so much quicker, the camera's better, the touchscreen's really easy to use - -just a better phone all round, in my opinion. I wouldn't go back to BB, there are much better options for a similar price (if not cheaper). If the Samsung's out of your budget, have a look at the HTC One X, they've had really good reviews from a couple of people I know that have them.

I had a BB Curve for work and for texting , calls etc it was perfect , screen not very good size for internet and stuff and you can take pics but not the best quality , ok though . Had a BB9700 as well private and much better for pics but similar screen size makes it rubish for internet so guess it all depends what you really want it for
