I don't think so... My puppy Otis has always loved the snow. There pads on paws are pretty thick so don't feel cold like we do I would imagine. I,m no expert on this but working dogs like huskies, st Bernard's etc work in the snow.

Worst case if you think your puppy is getting cold feet in snow you can buy shoes and ugg boots for dogs (I jest of course and totally don't agree with these) x

Rocky still has a poorly paw which is healing so we are keeping him in right now. He cut his paw open on some broken glass about 10 days ago now so we must keep him while it heals Sad

Snow itself is ok, but be very careful where they've put down salt & grit - it can be very poisonous to dogs.

Also, always check your dog's paws when you come in from a walk i the snow - make sure there are no scratches or lumps of ice caught up in them.

It snowed when kaos was about 6 months old and the cold did affect his feet, his pads split open and he wasn't a happy chappy but Ty's feet were ok but he was more like 20 months so his pads had hardened up a bit x

Usually it's fine, but I think the grit put down can dry them out or something, so it's good to wipe them when you come home from a walk. That said, Loki's paw pads have always been fine.
