Update on Bruno.

Well, I still have him LOL though he nearly drove me to a nervous break down at times, he's not biting but now is mouthing, not me but everyone else, not sure why but I think he knows I would never allow it, still chewing but I am still giving him a stern no and replacing the furniture with a toy, toilet training has been great for a while though he has the odd accident but that's more when he gets excited, struggling with that a little as he loves new people that enter his home and his thingy comes out especially with men, he jumps up and flys at people, any idea how to break this habit?

The great news is that I have found a football/basketball court with bolts where I can let him off his lead safetly and he can get plenty of exercise, it's took a lot of stress of as he can't run away though his recall is excellent.

Apart from that I am coping abit better.

He's got so much bigger too.

Good idea on the basketball court, I did that in the local tennis court.

There is still a while to go with the mouthing phase but you'll start to see a real impovement soon.

Well, I just took him to the football court, he ran after the ball for over half an hour, brought him home and he's still hyper, dogs well high energy but he's still teething and ones half way out so maybe he's annoyed LOL

Yes especially in this cold weather, it's just a shame he wakes me up every 5 minutes either fidgeting or putting his cold nose in my face lol the pup does not sleep much anymore rarrrrrrr

first things first, wow what a good looking dog and a real stunner. as for your question about how to stop the over enthusiastic greeings, your not going to like it and like me im sure your going to find it the hardest thing in the world to do... ignore him when you come in for a few mins.

the guy i got marley from saw this on YT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ay9eaiv1emw and called me up and gave me a "kind word of advice" I gave it a try and the first few days were heartbreaking but it does work and i fuss em up 5 mins after i get home now and they jump at nobody anymore. its not harmed our relationship at all and the dogs are more controlled when they meet new people as well as old friends.

Oh I ignore him and he does not jump up at me, I will tell my guests that too then, thanks for the advice and the link.

Yes, he's a stunner alright.

To get him not to jump on guests it's the same principle really, completely ignore him until he's calm, then he can have affection
