Update on Bruno

Bruno had his first injection on monday an is doing really well they weighed him well there an he was 6.8kg at 9 weeks! Chucky little bugger he is!
Had him just over a week now an he seems to be doing really well he's only had a couple of accidents the last few days an it mostly been our fault as we've not been quick enough to get him outside (he goes an sniffs by the door when he needs to go out) an he will go all night without needing to ho out. The only problem we're really having is he tries to chew EVERYTHING! When we tell him no he will stop but will immediately find somethin else to chew also when he gets overly excited when your playing he licks your face an then starts to nip your hair/nose/ears the high pitched yelp/ouch just seems to get him more excited! Other than that everything is great Can't wait for the next 2 weeks to fly by so we can get him out walking.

Glad he's settling in, he's a handsome wee boy. When he chews and you tell him no, try giving him something he is allowed to chew. We found the best distraction was an empty, plastic water bottle, as long as you don't mind the TV being drowned out
When he nips do the yelping thing but remember you must also stop all interaction. Totally ignore him, not even eye contact.
Also remember to let him sleep when he wants as, believe it or not, they are sometimes naughtier when tired and need lots of sleep.
Bacchus has just turned 6 months so I have just been through all the above and found the advice from the experienced contributors invaluable.

Plenty of toys to chew may help, bitter apple spray on the things he shouldn't be chewing. Hope all goes well.

It does get easier honest.
I think the teen thing is starting to kick in with Bacchus so I will be on shortly asking how to get through the next test
