Jumping dog!
Molly has developed incredibly strong muscles and can jump really high from even a standing position (very impressive)! If she jumps up at us we say off and turn away. Although recently instead of walking away she jumps higher and higher. Any hints and tips?
I'm sure there was something else but I can't remember it now doh! Another post later no doubt.

I've taught Monty the sit for fuss command... it works a treat for me, not so well with visitors but we are getting there.

This sounds like a very good place to start anyway

Re: Jumping dog!
What I've done with Loki is introduce a clicker for clicker training. As soon as he comes towards me and I know he's going to jump, I click (before he jumps) and place a treat on the ground, then walk away and when he walks towards me, click again and place a treat on the ground, and continue until that initial burst of excitement is over and he doesn't feel the need to jump up. You can do it without the clicker and just say 'Yes!' in a happy voice, I believe.
