Sad story!
Back last year we met a couple with their blue staffy, whilst fishing down by the river. He was a gorgeous bully boy whos name was Henry. Later on that week I visited a friend to do her hair (not far from where I live), who said the couple we had met with Henry lived next door to her. They moved shortly after,so heard no more how Henry was doing. After going today she told me Henry died couple of months ago. He was being castrated and died on the operating table, at our vets. I know there were probably some complications but it has now made my desicion very clear about having Vinnie done!. R.I.P Henry.

Re: Sad story!
All surgeries have their risks, even if they're extremely small. Poor Henry, RIP

Re: Sad story!
That is very sad to read, poor Henry, I guess we take it for granted sometimes how routine these procedures can be now but there is always an element risk involved. Run free Henry at Rainbow Bridge.

Re: Sad story!
RIP Henry
At my vet before they do any op they run blood tests (that you have to pay extra $80 for) to check for any underlying issues with heart, lungs, liver, kidneys etc.. They said it is a check to see that the dog isn't going to have complications with the anesthesia.. I have all but decided to get Steff spayed sometime in the next 6 months and it worries me sick her going under
