random wee-ing
At 7 months old we think Tilly is house trained .... until she goes into our front room or my mums front room or my friends front room. Is this a territory thing? Will she grow out of it?

Does it seem voluntary or involuntary? Incontinence isn't a nice thing to deal with, but it may just be preferential urinating.

Voluntary I think. She stops and squats before she pees. It's almost like she is so busy sniffing it induces her need to wee and she just does it!

Re: random wee-ing
Gosh she has pretty much free rein. She asks to go out and we always have the back door open when we're cooking/washing up/in the bathroom (we have a downstairs bathroom). When she did it at my mums last week she had been out for a pee 2-3 minutes beforehand yet still managed a massive pee on her cream carpet, oops, it's a good job we love her :-)

Hello
Is that a certain someone's sister?
Do you interrupt her when you catch her doing it? I don't mean tell her off but just an 'oops!' type thing then whisk her outside? It maybe that she just doesn't know it's wrong...xx

Re: random wee-ing
A lot of pups go through a stage like this. Just take her back to basics, exactly as you did when you first house trained her. If you actually catch her doing it, then a quick, sharp "No!" and take her straight outside & give loads of praise if she finishes off outside.
What do you clean up the accidents with?

Hello :-)
Yes it's sister here :-)
She gets told 'no' picked up and put outside but doesn't then wee any more once she's out. It's frustrating as I'm starting to worry when we go somewhere new.
Hopefully it's just a phase.

Re: random wee-ing
It probably is, like Caryll said, a lot of dogs go through it, especially in their teenage phase.
I too would just go back to basics like rewarding her when she goes outside to reinforce the behaviour and it will probably quickly resolve itself.
Are you using a specific pet mess cleaner or biological washing powder to clean up with? If you don't use and enzymatic cleaner then she will be able to smell where she had her accident and it will encourage her to do it again in the same place...xx

If she is doing it in the same place all the time this may be the key to solving your problem.. Are you cleaning the area properly to eliminate the scent to her?

Re: random wee-ing
I'm using Bob Martin pet cleaner stuff. She never goes to the same place twice and it really is only once in a while. It's just a bit awkward when it's on friend's carpets lol xx

You could try a solution of biological washing powder/liquid. It gets rid of all the smell, plus it doesn't stain the carpet & most people have it in the house in case she's not at home when she does it.
I'm not keen on Bob Martin stuff - a lot of it is costly & ineffective.
