Front paws/feet Empty Front paws/feet

Post by bullsmommy1 Wed Mar 13 2013, 13:33

Over the last 2 days whilst on walks I've noticed bulleys front feet keep collapsing from under him, but it's only on walks he's ok at home, is the walking causing him cramp or could it be more serious( has anyone's dog suffered anything similar) , he's going the vets on Friday if its not improved, but any suggestions of what Could be wrong will be appreciated until then. Worried sick. ( sorry to be a pain). Thanks

I haven't experienced this with any of my dogs but I agree that a trip to the vet is a good idea.

Hoping for the best for you and Bulley Smile

What exactly do you mean by 'collapsing'?

I mean like they just go on him causing him to fall on his nose :-(
I walk him on pavement to the fields, where we play fetch, there's nothing in his pads I checked,

Went vets and they reckoned just a bit of arthritis as they couldn't see any other reason, no pain so just going to keep Him warm and reduce walks in this wet cold weather :-)

Try to get some ginger chews for him, Holland & Barratts have them in as do other places. Ginger is a great stimulant which encourages the blood flow:

Glad it was nothing overly bad Smile

When I joined the forum I was recommended Yumove for a friend's dog that has arthritis and it helped a lot Smile
