Vet trip for the mule
Vet trip for the mule
Stupid horse has gone and been lame. He jumped a gate in August and got his legs stuck so he was rested for a while and seemed to be okay but came up lame after about a week of riding so he was put on more rest. He was then all fine but i rode three times last week and he seems to be iffy again so it's off to the vets we go.
I'm hoping it is something he did at the gate and he just needs a bit of physio or something. If it is arthritis that can be treated too but he will never be able to do what i want him to be doing so his owner might have to take him back as he would still be fine for her uses. Fingers crossed eh.

How old is he?
He is 16ish so arthritis from the injury is possible too. Hope not though!

He looks great for his age Hayley.
I really really hope it's not arthritis. I had the most wonderful horse EVER who had arthritis. I can tell you his story if you're interested, but won't go into it now if you're not.
Wishing you the best of luck Hayley with your equine friend
