walking on the lead
Princess needs some direction with walking, she is half way there, some days are easier than others.
sitting calms her.when she starts to pull we sit, wait a moment and continue.
she is always much better on the way home.
what works/worked with your dog?
All tips appreciated.
thanks a million

Re: walking on the lead
sound like you doing it right you just have to keep on doing the same and you will get there in the end
Re: walking on the lead
ooh that will do me,long as I am heading in the right direction.
thanks Steve
Getting the harness for her really made a difference
I shall just continue then
don't expect her to walk perfectly,it does keep her calm with animals/people etc too.
what is your handsome chap like with people/other dogs?
My princess is getting better every day.
thanks Steve

Re: walking on the lead
great news..I took lady on 2 walks today and the whisperer techniques really work.
she walked relaxed, close, ears back and down.
much more chilled out in herself.
she normally gets a bit frantic when she hears teens late at the park,I used whisperer techniques and it worked.
used the same as she walked past the cat...it worked.
amazing.so relieved to be able to take a nice walk together.
