Re: Good places to go?
i would recommend scotland,
i go up a few times a year with skye of course
mainly west coast,
good places i have stayed are,
http://www.tralee.com/
http://www.linnhe-lochside-holidays.co.uk/
both these are great for dogs, they are both at the waters edge,
the best time i think to visit these would be in september as the midges are not as bad then.
hope this helps,
regards snowy

If you drive Ellie it's great , closest DF beach about 30 mins by car but only because of the titchy roads. Sue couldn't be more down to earth and friendly and loves staffies. A fantastic walk right on the farm and loads of animals to meet We are going back at Whitsuntide.

Re: Good places to go?
we've booked a holiday with sykes holiday cottages in northumberland 2 mins from the beach and are taking our 2 staffies. will be interesting as it's the first time we've been away with them.......... just a bit worried about where we eat out! hoping the weather is nice and then we can all sit in a pub garden, but knowing northumberland it'll be pretty cold!
