New places for Blue to walk
Looked up on the internet for nice places not far from me to take Blue for a walk. Took him to some stunning places and at most are only 15mins drive from me. Been here ages and never even knew they were there.
Just a few pics from todays 3 hours walk up Hoddlesworth Res and the surrounding woods

You can walk for miles there. I took him there but a different part yesterday and we seen loads of people, due to lovely weather and it being a bank holiday weekend. People walking, riding horses, bike riding, dog walking and also as people camp out there and hike all over.
Today weather was still alright but not as sunny. We seen about 4 people cycling, couple of people horse riding through the woods and 4 dog walkers who Blue was brillant with
Its so nice there and has a constant sound of birds tweeting

Re: New places for Blue to walk
I let him off lead to go in the water. Another dog turned up without any warning but Blue was just dropping the stick into my hand when the dog come running over. I put him on a retractable lead and let him go where he wanted and he wagged his tail and played with the other dog.
I let him play for about 1 min then left as he started to try and put his head over the other dog and didn't want to leave as a negitive experience.
We are at the stage now where he is just dominant. Every so often he will give a low growl, if he does I just say no and walk off. Hopefully he will start to realise being nice enables him to play with other dogs not being a little bugger

Re: New places for Blue to walk
Cheers Janey.
I think you best have 10 pints for him.....he was that good
I put him on lead as soon as anyone come along but his recall was perfect. Everytime I called him he ran to me straight away with no treats
