Yellow and crumbly toilets
i dont know if its because of the change of diet from dry food to raw food,
Since the change in diet, his toilets have gotten a lot firmer and thiner, normal colouring.
Since yesterday morning it changed to almost mustardy yellow but breaks apart/crumbly and he puts a lot of strain into it.
Just wondering if you guys might have an idea?
Thank youu

Re: Yellow and crumbly toilets
He sounds to be constipated, raw bones will make his motions as you describe, I'm sure someone who feeds totally raw will tell you what to give him to help.

Re: Yellow and crumbly toilets
Generally, that would be caused by either too many bones or too much fat. Either way, he's clearly constipated.
What exactly is he being fed?

Re: Yellow and crumbly toilets
he gets some minced meat daily chicken or turkey ones, and sometimes a chicken wing, im not feeding him much. I did try and give him a chicken liver but that was just the one time.
And a little bit of lamb leg bone but not much and not all in one day, Max has been off the dry food for a few weeks now and has been doing really well.
I dont want to give him all sorts of different stuff in one go, didnt mean in one go as such, i just want to take my time on giving him different things,, as he has got a sensitive stomach,
but in saying that I think the bone ( lamb leg ) may of caused it, because he was doing fine with minced, chicken wings and eggs from time to time
Note, he doesnt get a wing every day, more every couple of days. and since the bone it went haywire with the poops
Sorry it doesnt make sense trying to write it quickly.
