Re: walkies.......
oooooo excited for you!!!
do you have an older dog you know thru friends or family that she gets on with? this was what we did with tyke, sort of buddying and this gave him alot of confidence.
Other wise i would recommend alot of patience and encouragement as its a whole new world for her
good luck and pictures if you can get any

Keep at it, use a toy and treat as encouragement/distraction, bet you can't wait to get her out and about

Re: walkies.......
I'm.counting down the days (its also an excuse for me to escape from mu madhouse -kids & hubby for a while and.feel slightly sane haha)
I also tried a harness on her to see if that helped buy she wasn't impressed. I think I need to realise it isn't going to happen overnight. I have vision of us walking for hours from Wednesday haha if only x

Re: walkies.......
Put the lead on her and play with her to distract her from it. Eventually she'll be like "Eh, this thing isn't so bad I suppose"

I'm sure she will be fine, just remember that it's 5 minutes for each month of age and try not to over do it

Re: walkies.......
I bet you are hyped to get out
My only tips would be, have her on and off the lead often around the house and garden until the time. It's hard for some pups to get into the swing of walking at the start, it took Logan a while to except it, he just wanted to get home to the couch haha.
Just take your time, don't walk too far. And most of all, bring plenty of treats and a favourite toy to keep her interested.

Re: walkies.......
Aww good luck! My advice would be don't expect to do much actual walking!! Mia took forever to get the idea of it and would just stop and look at you with the most pitiful eyes like "why are you doing this to me?"
After that it was stopping literally every 5 steps to sniff something, then turning around to head home after being out for all of 2 minutes!
Perseverance and treats (and poo bags of course!) and they'll get there tho!

Yeah, she WILL get used to being on a lead, it's just a bit strange for her at the moment.

Re: walkies.......
Buster was allowed out from sat. We drove to the park got out and he wouldn't walk at all to the gate. So carried him inside and this seemed to help and he walked fine around wasn't fond of the ducks or pushchairs but been taking him down everyday and getting loads better even been able to have him off the lead
