Oh my god im getting myself into a right state. Paris has conjunctivitus (Sorry about spelling) so i took her to the vet yesterday. What a mission it is to get a drop into her eyes it took 3 of them and she got herself into a flap. As i cant get them in at home they suggested bringing her in every day and they would do it but i dont want her to start thinking that the vets is a bad place so iv been waiting and creeping about with the drops while she is asleep and getting them in that way, any other suggestions or shall i just keep creeping ha. I am wanting to get her spayed can anyone let me know what their pups were like after the op as i want to make sure im off work ie length of time. My partner is home all the time but she is my baby lol

My girl cried her heart out they all had headache in the vets and cutomers were complaining what was going on out there ha ha .
She was 4 when I had her done and shes been happy and healthy ever since so for her obviously like us a bit tired and sore straight after but none worse for wear.

Just keep persevering with the drops!

Moo was done at about 8 months and she was fine but I took a week off work, more for the reason that she they can't exersize for a while and I didn't want her chewing her stitches out!

Molly hated her eye drops at first, but, getting her to jump up onto a chair, so she's at your level, you're not coming down to hers and looming over her.
Another thing, shove some treats under her nose so she's got those to munch on instead of focusing on the eye drop.
The best thing I found was to pull down her lower eyelid and get it in the bottom of the eye, the natural blinking motion will spread it around the eye. It's also a lot less stressful than having a nozzle coming right at her eye.
Hide the tube until the very last minute, make it as quick as possible, don't make a massive fuss before hand, stay calm, grip her head gently and squeeze it in. Once you're finished, make the biggest fuss of her possible. The more pleasurable it is, the less panicky she'll be.

As for the spaying, I can't really comment as Molly's not been done yet.

Hope her eyes improve soon.
