Dog Walk
Joined a group on Facebook started by one of the vets I go to, and today there was a walk not far from where I live, so decided to go. It was great four greyhounds, two Labradors, a Dalmation same age as Loki and just as playful, a JRT who stuck by Loki most of the walk, a 19-week old Dobermann and a MASSIVE Newfoundland named Cuddlybear. Loved it. Only downside was Loki didn't get let off his lead. It was an on-lead walk really, but the dogs were let off the lead on a field for a five minute play, but with Loki still jumping up and biting (and there being kids around) I didn't feel it was a good idea. I'm hoping next time I'll take the long line with me, or an extendable lead, just something for him to have a good play with the other dogs with. I took pics of him sniffing and walking with the other dogs though that's mostly what it was.

Re: Dog Walk
Pleased he had a good time and if its a regular group with the same dogs he will settle soon , great for the social side for him and he will get that off lead time soon

There was about 50-60 people all together and their staffs most were all from the same Breed Rescue , it was great to see them all out together

So many Staffs, must have been like an explosion of friendliness
Yeah, I'm going to carry on going on the walks with them, hopefully with some practice, Loki's recall will be good enough for me to let him off the lead. At least, hopefully he won't still be people-crazy by then . He had fun even though he was kept on his lead though, his tail wouldn't stop wagging he's sleeping now, so that's a sign of a good day.
