Who lets their dogs on the bed?
First topic message reminder :
Dog trainers will tell you not to let your dogs sleep on your bed and to be honest I pretty much agree with this school of thought. Doesn't mean I abide by it though lol
PS Forgot to mention the cat

Re: Who lets their dogs on the bed?
Roxy generally sleeps on the sofa downstairs, but as a treat we occasionally allow her upstairs into our bedroom... at that point she takes over and loves nothing more than to sleep inbetween us and of course under the duvet, sometimes when she gets hot she will come up to the top and put her head on the pillows!

Re: Who lets their dogs on the bed?
Ralph starts on his bed which is down by the side of ours… but at a point during the night when I can’t be bothered to push him off, he gets up and will burrow under the covers and make himself comfy either between my legs or the OH’s. He then gets too hot, and will spend the next few hours getting down, getting up, laying on top of the covers, getting down, going under the covers until it’s time to get up.
There was an exception to this last weekend, when he jumped up and his tail caught the pint glass which was full of water on the headboard, and knocked it all over my head at 4am. Not a good start to the day.
BTW, when we got him, I said no way is he going on the sofa or on the bed. He now owns both.

Bailey and Sierra are always on the bed! Sometimes even under the covers if they feel like it

My wife is still trying to get our bitch to sleep on the bed with the other two. Hey, what is one more when I'm practically kicked out as it is?

YES to all of the above. Do we have the same dog?Jellytot wrote:Ralph starts on his bed which is down by the side of ours… but at a point during the night when I can’t be bothered to push him off, he gets up and will burrow under the covers and make himself comfy either between my legs or the OH’s.
