I'm so Happy!

Its a misty wet day here and I decided to take Harry for a walk round all the country lanes this morning and if we met another dog in a narrow place I would cope with him being a pain. We had a long walk and he even behaved well walking nicely. Then just as we were on our way home we met 3 different dogs the first went well and then later we saw a spaniel approaching off lead that Harry always has a pop at. Was just about to try my 'look at me' training with a handful of treats but before I could do it the spaniel came over and the 2 dogs greeted each other and Harry then walked on. As we were walking off a Labradoodle came running over and the same thing happened again.

I'm gobsmacked has someone come in during the night and swopped my dog

Funny thing is normally when we meet the spaniel and I tell the owner that Harry isn't friendly she says to me "thats ok my boy has already sensed that and will not approach" and he doesn't. So what was different this morning, and what did the spaniel see in my boy that led him to come right over?

Anyway I'm soaked right through from the rain but I have this big smile on my face and just couldn't wait to tell someone. Maybe just maybe all my efforts are paying off.

Sometimes it seems to just click and work and it's amazing! Logan has issues with certain breeds of dogs and I nearly expect trouble when I see them approach, but when it doesn't I'm totally gobsmacked too haha.

Good to hear things are going well

It could have just been something in his body language that was different this morning, Harry must have looked more relaxed on this mornings walk.
