Really want her :(

First topic message reminder :

The only 2 reasons I'm not getting her is because...
1) My boy doesn't get on with other dogs
2) She's to far away, although I guess I could manage to get there just to get her

Neutering won't calm him down unless he is only fighting when there are other male dogs about a bitch in heat, which is unlikely.

As for the RSPCA, they've become a "if we tell them its not good with kids and dogs it can't come back on us if it attacks"

In my experience many rescues say 'not to be homed with young children' for many dog breeds as they don't usually know the background of the strays and don't have the opportunity to foster them out and find out their true nature.
It's a 'better safe than sorry' situation, but it does make staffy rehoming a nightmare.

My cousin adopted a male staffy from an Oxford pound, she is a childminder with two primary school aged children, so it is possible. (but don't get me started on the anonymous letters calling her a child-killer once she took the dog home... )

Yea I've seen blue staffys there for £1.200
I guess there's nothing people can do to stop these breeders though, I mean if people didn't breed them we would basically not have staffys but they over breed their staffys.

Yes it is sad to see it, and if she ends up in the wrong hands she'll be breed again and have more puppies, which isn't right. That's also one of the reasons I wanted to get her, but yea.. Just hope she goes into a good home.

As much as we would like we cant save them all. Lets hope she gets a good forvever home. My house would be packed to the rafters with them but one little doggy will be out there waiting for you one day

Looking at her pic (I don't know how old she is) yes, she's had a litter, but probably only one. I'd say that the pups weren't up to standard so they don't want her any more.

i love all the hype on the site over stud dogs and pups. i'd never buy a blue to blue or a dog from such a site. breeders who are respectable dont go washing their dogs over these kinds of sites where any nob can apply!

Poor girl. I hope she finds a loving forever home soon
