Do you know how much they are? Can't see it on the site, most probably not looking in the right place!

Mine where £11 & £14 but you can have a look on ebay etc, the site is just what they are but you have to buy from pet shops I think. Recommend them though, Moo is quite funky wearing her tweed Xx

As you probably know, Bacchus is our first staffie.

Q. Do they really need coats?

We've had snow here 3 times already this winter and it doesn't seem to bother him. In fact he loves it. Is it an individual thing ( I mean the dogs not the owners ) ?

Rocky has an Ancol Muddy Paws coat that is warm for when the weather is very cold and windy. This is the closest one I can find to it:

During the horrible weather the coat means that Moll can stay out with us for longer before she gets too cold. We're building pig huts and are up there for several hours. When they get cold we put them into the crate in the car and they can warm up.

I don't think on an average walk they 'need' coats but for what we want it helps. A thoroughly wet dog gets colder a lot faster! The coat provides an additional barrier from the elements.

I wouldn't say they need it, but if it's extra cold or raining a lot then it's just practical, they'll enjoy it more when they're not wet and/or freezing. But how cold the dog feels depends on the individual dog. Loki used to hate the cold weather so we got him a coat, but now he doesn't care Laughing so I just use it when it's raining so he stays dry.

Also, love the first picture Big Grin such a sweet face.

Depends on the overall temperature, duration of exposure, and how well naturally "insulated" the dog is ie fat stores.

My old boy never needed one but my previous foster shivered like mad in the wind, so I got her a coat. And a fleece dog jumper. She stopped shivering.
