Cage Size
How much room should there be for a dog in a cage? Mostly I mean height-wise. Loki can comfortable lie on his side, stretch out, etc., but when he sits and stretches his head up (as he does every morning as part of his post-waking stretches taking about 15 minutes all in all ) it looks like it won't be long before his head will be very close to hitting the top of the cage. Should I get a bigger cage for him now, or is this size OK because lying down and sitting without stretching is fine? It was hard for me to find a cage that big, god knows how I'm going to find a bigger one.

Re: Cage Size
A 36 inch cage should be fine. They are listed as large. That's what our 2 have

Re: Cage Size
As long as he can stand up, turn around & lay down comfortably he'll be ok. Dempsey also likes to stretch his head up, but he's learned to do it outside the crate!

I've got the large one from Pets At Home and it's the right size for Zeus, he can do everything that Caryll has stated.
