How does this sound?
I'm going to post a note on the Front door regarding Molly's training, does everyone think this sounds ok?
To everyone entering the house.
Molly is currently going through training to stop her from jumping up on guests and family.
When you enter the house please ignore Molly until she is sat quietly, please don't greet her or go up to fuss her, if she goes to jump up, she will be told “Off” and led away, please be patient with us and her training, we're hoping it will make a more pleasurable experience for Molly and everyone who enters the house.
Most of you know that she gets very excited when someone enters the house, sadly the same can be said for when we are out in public, and as you can imagine most people don't appreciate this, so we're going to work on her training in house first, then hopefully she'll be a much better and well behaved dog in general.
Thanks for your co-operation!

Re: How does this sound?
Wow that is such a great idea, do you mind if I borrow this for my house.
you have put such a lot of thought into this, I'm sure it will work, I would not be offended if someone asked me to do this, I would think - what a good owner.
well done and good luck

Hope you don't mind, but I just copied & pasted that (changing the name of course!) & I'm about to laminate it for my own front door.
So, all in all, a terrible idea & one that will never catch on!

Re: How does this sound?
If it's okay with Steve, I'll write an article about it for the forum, something along the lines of "How to get the entire family and friends involved in your dogs training"
