Dr Rocky on call again
Sadly this morning I felt really ill with a bad tummy, this happens occasionally at certain times of the month for me
This morning was particularly painful for me and I thought I was going to pass out, I'm not exaggerating . Thankfully my little Dr Rocky was there for me and made me feel much better, I can now see what a difference a PAT dog could make to someones life.
Hubby and me have considered before about seeing if Rocky could train to be one, we are now going to seriously look into it.
He really is my little Hero

Know how that feels Kathy! ><
You should go for it! Dogs can have such an impact on people's feelings.

It is a bit of a girly issue, but yes I will be asking my doctor about it as it is getting worse. Hubby suggested I see the doctor about it too.
Thank you for the concern, it is appreciated

Oh on a more serious not though if you don't feel it is normal then go to the doctor and don't put off, my mum used to do that

It can get a little worse due to many things, but (and no offence ) it can definitely happen at certain stages in your life! Just make sure you have protection or you could pop out a late one, its been known to happen lmao

Re: Dr Rocky on call again
Sounds terrible, but glad Rocky was around to comfort you. I've always had the plan of having Loki be a therapy dog, but...I don't think a jumping, nipping dog will help anyone feel better hopefully one day he'll calm down enough for it though. They really do improve people's moods even if temporarily.

Re: Dr Rocky on call again
Kathy, I hope you are feeling a lot better today and it's good to hear that Rocky has been a comfort to you.
I've often heard how dogs can tell when their humans aren't feeling too good and are especially gentle and loving at those times.
I just wish Kuchar heard of this theory. My son is ill with a virus and I can hardly walk at the moment with a bad back and shoulder. Does Kuchar care? Oh no - same demands for games, play, treats etc (oh and he HAS been getting walks, although not from me for the time being). He's still a loving boy (although in his usual boisterous way) but still knows what HE wants - b****r what his humans are feeling like!
another loss to PAT dogs

Re: Dr Rocky on call again
Yes, I'm sure he knows when either of us are feeling bad.
I had to stay in bed for an extra hour yesterday morning and Rocky didn't want to leave me to go out for a walk with hubby. As soon as they came back he was on the bed with me and giving me kisses, bless him I love him so much.
