Another Issue...
Sorry me again, it seems Caley has started another habit today, she is getting very friendly (if you know what I mean) with her teddy , it has only just started much to the kids amusement. What do I do? do I stop her doing this, at the moment I just ask her what she thinks she is doing and she looks at me sheepisly and walks off. I thought once they were spayed I wouldn't have this issue, obvioulsy I was wrong.

Re: Another Issue...
From what I've read, many people assume spay/neuter will solve problems that are basically training issues ...
as for dominance, not sure, I've never had these issues with Taz - but would never have her chopped her up without exceptional medical reason to anyway !! ...
If you dont want her doing it, correct the behaviour, calm, persistent reward based training.

Bitches & dogs both hump! Neutering will rarely stop it, but training will!

Ha...Loki did this with his monkey teddy. It's dead now and he never does it, so I guess he just REALLY made a connection with it . Anyway, just distract her with something else to take her mind off it, I think.

Girls need some action too! Lol
My old ret bitch would hump my lab when we were playing fetch. She wasn't interested in the ball but the lab was and the yet would hump him as he was waiting for the ball to be thrown. She stopped when we got Lexi who was the more dominant bitch

Hahaha this certainly brightened up my morning..
Biscuit's done similar on more than a few occasions.. She doesn't tend to hop on the good foot and do the bad thing with inanimate objects, but will try to mount people or other dogs if she gets over excited during play..
