I know Moo trys it on sometimes with me and I'll be firm and just say, Moo walk properly, and she does. But just b4 Christmas we where out and she split her claw (which I hadn't realised until I saw the blood) I left it 2 days cause she was acting ok then took her to the vets and she ended up in plaster for nearly a month!! I wouldn't have thought there was much wrong but a keep an eye out and if he's still limping then get a vet to give the once over Smile

I went to the vets with sid for something but asked him to have a look at a little graze on his paw,he just said to make sure to keep it clean so it doesn't get infected and it would heal up quick enough, and it did! Would make sure there is nothing in the cut though if you can,sid had another cut on his paw which I thought was just a cut but it got a bit red and it turned out there was I tiny bit of glass in there which I had to get out with tweezers!! That was fun?!! But soon cleared up soon after that with a bit of anti-ceptic!

I agree with the warm salt water tip, that should keep it nice and clean.

Ok, sorry, feel like I'm hi-jacking, The graze is quite deep and we played tugsies a min ago and it started to bleed again? Its clean and not bothering her, but do you think I should keep her off it for a while??

When skibadee cut her foot on glass I cleaned it daily but when we went out for walks I covered it with gauze and a piece of 'vetwrap' which is a self adhesive bandage. The best thing you can do is keep it clean but if its just a graze/surface wound then Im sure just washing with salty water or savlon diluted will suffice.
