Midnight shop raid Empty Midnight shop raid

The local supermarket closed early today but reopens at midnight.

Aside from needing to go as I have exactly zero food in the house, I figure there'll be a stack of stuff marked down, particularly in the Christmas aisles.

Hoping 50 quid will do what 100 quid normally does.

Yes, I am tight. Laughing

Yes it's been a nightmare trying to buy food today. My local shop was going to be open today so I wasn't worried - and then it decided it wasn't.

I'm SO glad everything will be back to normal tomorrow.

I make sure that I do all my shopping on New Year's Eve - I don't do any shopping at all on New Year's Day! Big Grin

Sounds like fun. Surprised

Think I'd get arrested if I went shopping during busy times - I have a strange compulsion to push trolleys in the middle of aisles out of the way.

30 minutes to go. dance

So hungry, I considered eating the one thing in my fridge: a jar of yellow-looking mayonnaise.

The dog biscuits are also looking edible.
