TOBY 18 MONTH HANDSOME STAFFI X - BRISTOL
Toby is a very bouncy and excitable young dog that arrived at the Dog’s Home as a stray in May 2012. Toby became extremely stressed in the kennels and we decided to put him into foster in December. Toby gets very overexcited and would need a calm home where he will learn to settle down.
Toby is a playful 18 month old boy that is now learning to play with toys and is into anything that you are! He needs lots of exercise and will require active owners, but once tired out he settles very well and is very affectionate.
Toby couldn’t live in a home with children as he has some bad manners in regards to mouthing that have carried over from puppyhood and would need to be worked on further. Toby has been spending his time meeting lots of dogs and is doing very well in his interactions. It would be important to keep up the socialising further and control his interactions as he is liable to get himself into trouble with other dogs. Having said that Tobys new foster home have found him delightful around other dogs and he went on his first organised dog walk with 10 other dogs and was wonderfully behaved. His foster home said “Toby seems to really enjoy other dogs company”.
Toby isn’t a dog for novice owners and would need some further training but we feel that he would be a very fun addition to any home. If you feel that you can give Toby the forever home he deserves please email me at bdhfostering@gmail.com
