I'm going to the pub to see a cover band that I like and have dinner with some friends then all heading back to one of my mates houses to have a pool party

Theyre too deep in the middle to sit but too shallow to stand. Theres no floating cause the bubbles wash me about

My mum will be going to my auntie's giant party, my brother will go out to a party with his friends...and me and my dad will both be in opposite ends of the house, meet a minute before it's midnight, weakly say "happy New Year" and have a good old laugh about how pointless it is, then get back to doing nothing

I will eat some food and pig out in the name of celebration though, that's always nice.

as many new years before , no big parties and probably one of the driest (note I said driest and not dry) nights of the year an probably be in bed by 10 and sleep through all the bells and fireworks with the dogs snuggled up on the bed , New Years Eve indeed !! Humbug

Don't have any plans for tonight, will probably be in bed at 10pm anyway I usually am. Have never really celebrated the new year at all.
