Just wanted to stop by and introduce myself to everyone. My wife, three children and myself live about 35 minutes south of St.Louis Missouri, U.S.A. and we are looking for our first Staffy puppy. Not looking to breed or show, just want a good healthy, even tempered pet to be part of our family. We wont be ready to bring the little guy home until late May or early June 2013 so I have some time to do my research and find a good breeder. My family used to breed/show Great Pyrenees, and they are great dogs, but they slobber and shed all over the place.

If anyone can recommend a Staffy breeder in our area let me know.

Welcome I can't recommend any breeders, sorry, but hopefully someone can point you in the right direction. It's great that you're doing your research and hope you can find all the advice/information you're looking for.

Hello Eric,

I am in the US in NC and I had to do a quick search on the net to find breeders. the SBT Club of America has a listing of breeders, but it doesn't seem up to date.

I found my breeder in VA and I can talk to her to see who she knows in MO. She is very well connected as my dogs bloodline is very, very nice. She is not on the breeder list from the SBT club, but if you would like I can speak with her to see if she can point you in the right direction.

I found two breeders in Illinois that are within an 1.5 hours or so, but I can't find any reviews on them. Glenmar staffs and semper fi staffs. Any help would be appreciated.
