Lola's got silent recall nailed...
out walking tonight, Lola off lead as usual on part of our walk. she wanders about 10 yards ahead of me all the time, when out of nowhere she trots up to me and sits down. i look ahead, and can just make out another walker with three dogs that we meet all the time.
when we see another dog, she gets called back and sits for her lead, so it seems she knows the drill, but...
one of the dogs this guy has, really doesnt like Lola, and Lola doesnt like her. they both rear up on leads and bark at each other every time (the only dog Lola does this with). and still, Lola came back without asking.
i swear theres something odd with this dog. wouldnt change her though

I'm so jealous!
Bacon goes deaf off-lead. I thought I had it figured out with a special recall word and cheez-whiz as a reward, but sometimes even that wont get him to come back.

Great to hear that Lola has her recall so well polished. I think they do sometimes just take a disliking to some dogs. Rocky doesn't like any boxer dogs despite his name.

Well done Lola.
What age is she? At 5 months Bacchus is intermittent. Sometimes comes straight away but not always. Still, better than not at all which was the case a couple of weeks ago.

She's coming up to two and a half, but I've only been able to work with her one on one since march, the foundations were there but it's taken time to polish it up
