Cheapo lighters
Why do they always run out of flint when still half full?

Re: Cheapo lighters
I have enough gas left over in this pack of lighters to sell back to North Sea Inc.

You've just got to run around with an out of fuel clipper to light the cheapos and job done, women annoy me more than cheap lighters as my OH insist on leaving all the dead lighter on the window ledge in the little toilet upstairs where we have our craftys through the night and in bad weather

Re: Cheapo lighters
Sorry have never smoked so cannot advise on lighters. We've got one of these things for lighting the gas hob when the flicker thing packs up. Brilliant little gadget:

I've honestly never seen the appeal. All the health problems (big and small), it should at least give you the most wonderful sense of euphoria in existence. But my mum is stressed out even when she's just finished smoking, so evidently it isn't . Still, I guess that's why the lighters are cheap, because they don't work that well?

I would say you can't beat a clipper, but they dont seem to be as robust as they used to be - I've a smelly fuel Zippo one here.. never fails - even in the wind
