Couldn't get to the pub!
Its ok though, I managed to get to another, but the river here has totally burst it banks, even in wellies I couldn't get through! My friend only had walking boots on so he had to take them off and try and get through in bare feet and jeans rolled up! Far too deep, so after an hour of trying the 3 different ways I know we gave up! Moo had quite an adventure and I'm pleased to be home, will take the camera tomorrow!
Hope everyones having a great boxing day also

I have never seen it so deep! I was a little worried about Moo getting cold but she was leaping through the water like a puppy! I had to take off her coat as I does up under her belly and she was loving it!
Pleased to be home snuggled up though now!

Yes Janey I remember! And here she is, splashing through floods!
Oh this RAIN! I hope for all our friends on here that it stops NOW (fat chance, according to the weathermen) and that floods do not inflict themselves on any of you.
Good luck, all.

Take care near those flooded rivers Janey, you could get in serious trouble trying to walk through them, there may be a current that may not be obvious on the first look at it.
Our walk now has a flooded river running through it and a lake which is overflowing. Hubby and me saw a woman walking alone there the other night. I told hubby to wait until we saw her come back down the path before we moved away, thankfully she did.
Tell them to move the pub, how inconsiderate

Cheers Kathy, I will be careful, always stick Moo back on lead when going through moving water, but the field we where trying to cross was just that, a field! So much fun
