Christmas shopping world record
I claim a world record: into store, entire list of 11 prezzies bought, out of store and back to car inside 15 minutes, today at 6pm.
Man on a mission - dodged those blind trolley-pushers like a boss.

I literally ran, without a trolley because trolleys slow you down.
Even got two packets of pork scratchings and a bottle of Jim Beam for myself in that time.
Planned it out before getting there - visualized the aisles and what was in them.
Wrapped them all by 6:30pmn as well and now attacking the alcohol.

1/4 way into a bottle of Jim Beam Red Stag at the mo, Steve - the cherry flavoured one.
Might have ruined it though as added to a pint of coke.

Re: Christmas shopping world record
I say I did mine in August, this is stretching the true a little. I bought all the ingredients for my Christmas puddings in August then made them in September and gave them as gifts. Does that count ??

Re: Christmas shopping world record
Nice going, Keith!
I've finished all of my Christmas shopping, sort of. I say sort of because there was something that I ordered for my dad right at the beginning of the month - delivery from the UK, so it's very close - and it still hasn't arrived. It was supposed to arrive between the 14th and 20th, but I checked back a couple of days ago and the dates had mysteriously changed to the 24th of December and 14th of January. Ridiculous!

It will be a hot plate. With barbecue sauce and a sprinkling of black pepper. And I will feed them to Dempsey.

Strange gift request Kathy, but I'll ask around and see what we can do.
