Leah "Wee Keanie"
We let our beloved Leah run free at the bridge on the 23rd November after 16 fabulous years.
We saw her come into the world, and since that day we promised her we would be there when she left, and we were.
We kept our promise to her, like she promised to give us a lifetime of love, understanding, faithfulness and unselfishness by being born.
She was old, she was getting tired, her eyes pleaded with me it was " time to go" and it was only "right" to let her go in a dignified manner.
It was one of the hardest decisions we ever had to make, but it was better we suffer for a month or so than her for another 5-12. As who were we saving?
Our feelings?
Putting off the inevitable?
It all would come to the same conclusion sooner or later, and for Leah, sooner was the best option.
A faithful, loving, beautiful Girl now runs free at the bridge with other beautiful babies.
Our life has been enriched by having her in our lives, and for that we are grateful.
A one of a kind Girl, that touched our hearts and will never be forgotten
