Vehicle Tyres to Play with

Hi peeps !!
My 12 month old Tess has literally destroyed any toy we've got her within the first half hour !!
I'm sure this isn't anything new !! However, I suggested to the Hubster, that we should maybe get her an old car tyre to chow on ? (I would obviously give it a thorough clean first).
But the Hubster said not to because tyres have metal mesh in them (which I forgot about).
Does anyone have any thoughts/idea's ?? Or know of any particular tyre without the metal ?
What do your Fur-Baby's play with ??

you could try a kong toys, there are a few websites that do staffy toys im sure someone will be along to say so, but yeah i would avoid tyres.

Kong Extreme has been a godsend... has lasted a good 6 months so far with no sign of destruction, multi-use and value for money.

I thought about tyres, even a mini-moto tyre, but haven't tried them yet.

Sure I have seen and heard dogs having tyres. Not myself but moo hates any toy she can't destroy, I just got her into the boomer ball which she loves but thats for outdoors, indoors we have total cheap things she can shred

I put peanut butter in there if I want to keep her busy, she'll lick it out for ages even when there's only the smell left. I also use it as a 'fetch' toy as it bounces in all sorts of funny directions cos of it's shape. Works for Gabbi anyway...

Stag bar = quiet dog.

Have you tried a stag bar, these are a God send too, Rocky loves his. They are available in Jolleys or Pets at Home, I think Amazon have them too,

you can buy the small solid rubber tyres with no wires in he wont chew them up
