Two things playing on my mind?

Hi all,
well 1) i want to get marl a coat because it is horrible out there in this weather now, and everytime i say i am, people say to me no because they look stupid :/ i don't know what to do, i want him to stay warm when were walking.

and 2) how many times a day do you take your dog on a walk.. i normally do it once but he has loads of energy so i am thinking 1 in the morning about 7ish and then one again about 2 in the afternoon before all the kid's come out of school?

I mean look at this face :-(

He has a yummy face! Moo has a wardrobe now not just a jacket lol!

As for walks, is he getting off lead play? This can help, he really should have 2 walks a day so go for it

As far as the walks are concerned then should be 2-3 times a day, if Marley's age is correct at 6 months then this should be only 30 mins of lead walking each time but you can extend this with off lead time which doesn't count

Awwww! Where can i buy thing's for him?.

He is when other dog's are not around but if dog's are around he is on his lead but it's one of them were you can let it go away from you a little bit.

Thank you he isn't six months no more he is 10-11 months so how long do i walk him for now?

we have a coat for Miley because staffies are short haired they feel the cold more and need the extra warmth in the winter. When we come in from walking her you can feel the difference where her coat has been lovely and warm

where did you get the coat from please??

I got Maggie's from my local Tkmaxx its really good i go for a look every few weeks to see whats new

They are really cheap this was £10 and keeps her really warm she hates walking in the cold the wimp

He wont look silly in a coat, Rocky has a lovely red quilted coat to keep him dry and warm on these awful horrid cold days.

As for walks, Rocky has one in the morning for an hour, then another in the afternoon for just over an hour with lots of playing around too. He sometimes goes out for another hour at night but not always.

Hard to go wrong with Danish Design - seem quite staffy-shaped.

As for walking, my foster gets walked at 5:30am for 30 minutes and 7pm for an hour.

Dempsey gets a morning walk, the length depends on whether he's going to work with me or not, then he gets a shorter early afternoon walk, a longer evening walk & sometimes a late walk!

Did you get the 2 in 1 coat Keith ?? I ordered 2 and got the 16 inch but tried on Tilly and it didn't quite cover her bum so Tommy had no chance , sent back to Amazon and plan to buy the 18" ones , if Tilly is lost in it then Tommy will have a pick of 2 but keen to know your opinion

I got the 45cm/18 inch long one, which fits Sausage well, with plenty of room for when I fatten her up a bit as she's on the skinny side (15.4kg).

It's the waterproof/fleece one - have to say I was freezing on Saturday in a coat, 2 jumpers and tee-shirt, while she seemed warm and cosy.

Really like the fact it goes on in 30 seconds.

Buster has already started looking up at the sky. He does not like rain at all

Moo wears a 20" one but we where lucky as a store near us sells them so we could try all the sizes on her

Great looking dog. Our Skye hates her coat, walks around in a sulk when she has it on.

agree with this

Marley is looking good! Agree with the above even if mine do go naked most of the time (we aren't nearly as cold here). Getting him out twice a day is really important. Mine go for 2: 45min-hr each.
