Bald spots
So we waited until molly's season was well and truly over to see if her bald spots improved but they seem to have gotten a little worse. So off to the vets we went (to spend a few more pounds )
They did a skin scrape and now she's on antibiotics for 2 weeks (but will prob need to be a months worth vet thinks) and just in case we are to purchase some Canestan cream to put on the spots incase it might be ringworm (they looked and couldn't see any evidence of it).
Poor little thing was soooooo good at the vets even when they did the skin scrape! She just wanted to say hello to one and all
An old guy came up to us when we left the vets and said 'oh that ones gonna cause you a lot of trouble when she grows up.....gonna be massive and they're vicious' I just turned around to him and said excuse me but I think your very wrong in what you're saying (cue Molly looking uber cute sat on the edge of the pavement wagging her tail as much as she could). They're an incredibly affectionate breed and easy to train if you put the effort in. Silly man, who's he to speak to me like that!

Re: Bald spots
Unfortunately it seems that owning a staffy automatically puts a neon sign above your head that reads "Give me your cruel an uneducated opinion of my dog" Some people are silly and rude.. But at the end of the day it is their loss, they will never know what they are missing out on
I hope the antibiotics work quickly for Molly

I hope the treatment works for Molly. What an ignorant old man, just has no idea of what Staffys are really like, another who has just been duped by the media frenzy again.

Re: Bald spots
Silly old man. All the other people that said how lovely she was and that made us feel better. I was rather short in my replies but felt I'm the better person
Its the way people say it that bothers me in a matter of fact tone like its a given that a staff will be nasty. But they always refer to the future events that haven't actually happened! I can't wait till she her head fills out imagine what will be said then lol!
