Giving up the drink
I've decided to stop drinking. Serious post too. Just don't know why I bother, I end up sick for two days and just dunno when to stop. I am not a mad alco who drinks to oblivion but I do hold a fair few drinks and sown two days ill and I just don't see the point, what does it really do apart from make you a bit loopy and cost a fortune?

Re: Giving up the drink
I would love to support you in this Hayley but I only have the occasional glass of wine on special occasions, cant afford anything else really.
Hope you can stick with it, good luck.

Re: Giving up the drink
I don't drink; I don't like the taste, don't want to drink away my problems, and don't think it'd be worth the aftermath so I agree with you there, but I'm in the minority. Hope it goes well if it's what you want

I hate the taste too, I have to gulp a few to get over the initial shock of it. I love the taste of peach schnapps but its far too sweet.
I have been thinking about it for a while and I'm at a point now that I want to loose weight and sort myself out and get my life in track.

why dont you change your drinks
I tried a while on peach schnapps (can't drink vodka) and everything else just to expensive. I don't get anything out of alco pops (and the calories are ridiculous) and beer makes me bloated.
I'm sticking to sprite and fizzy water from now on!
