Re: Canny Collar Competition - Juvenile Dog From 12 Months to 2 Years
I would like to try a canny collar for my 15 month old boy buster
He was a private rescue from a person I have know for a rew years. They got him because they liked my girl Skye. The only problem was until I got him at 5-6 months old he was never socialised or out of his cadge as he was a bit nippy with their kids.
When we started taking him out he was petrified and every noise would make him cower now after a long battle he loves going out but will now pull if he wants to see something.
He is also nervous aggressive with other dogs as his first couple of dogs he meet apart from Skye the owners didn't put them on leads and they pounced on him chasing him up my leg and into my arms, so he now will snap if they come too close. As a responsible owner I do muzzle him around other dogs but it seems to make him worse. But it's the best of two evils at the moment.
We do socialise him as much as he can stand but progress is slow as we do seem to be avoided more. I would love to be able to say that my boy was a bit more relaxed when meeting other dogs and still have the control over his sharp end.
Thankyou

Re: Canny Collar Competition - Juvenile Dog From 12 Months to 2 Years
I would like a Canny collar for my dog Kenny. He's a big strong very excitable boy. He pulls and drags me every where. I think a Canny Collar may help.
Kenny has slipped his harness on a few occassions, so i need something tuff and reliable. Kenny also has a few training issues, we currently working on his recall and stay and wait. I belive the comfort and strenght of a Canny Collar will help Kenny
