Scratching ears/face
Is it normal for Zeus to be scratching his ears and face everyday? He does it quite often...

How do you mean?
Is he scratching at his ears more than normal? and does he shake his head a lot? If that is the case it could be an ear infection. Or it could be cause he enjoys it, it could be anything really.

Re: Scratching ears/face
It might be an allergic reaction to something he's sniffed/stuck his head in. Or maybe mites? You can usually tell if it's ear mites, as there will be tiny black dots (a bit like dirt) in your dog's ears. If there's a strange or unpleasant smell coming from your dog's ears, it could be a sign of infection, too.

Yeah, it seems like he's scratching more than normal. He does shake his head while hes doing it.

My money's on an ear infection ... sounds exactly like Max's (think his is coming back un'all ) ... nuther bloody vet bill on the horizon
You couldnt see/smell anything, but the vet got plenty of crap out with cotton buds (once he was muzzled and me and the wife was holding him down that is )
