Where is he scratching is it all the time or just now and again - what food are you feeding Beau as it could be food related - have they done skin scrapings etc ?

Re: how to stop scratching
under belly all the time its not constant, but he does make it red vets give him a jab to stop him but it lasted a week, There is no redness on his skin until he scratches,
Changed his bedding and only washing in non bio soap powder.
it is never open wounds just redness and on a white belly it stands out

Re: how to stop scratching
Initially I would look at his food - what are you feeding at the moment alot of irritation/allergies are from food also if it persists then I would ask for skin scrapes to be carried out and I guess you have checked for fleas etc hun x

Re: how to stop scratching
Maybe speak to your Vet about using a Medicated shampoo.
When my girl was a youngster she used to scratch constantly and our Vet suggested a medicated Shampoo called "Malaseb" which helped. You shampooo it on, and leave it for 10 minutes before rinsing well.
Good luck.
It's not much fun for Pup, or for you to watch them in discomfort
