New staffy mom in west virginia
Hi All. i am Sarah, mom to human kids Elijah, Allie and Kira, and puppy mom to bella ( aussie shepherd rescue), Maximus ( boston mix JRT?) rescue, and now Keegan (staffordshire bull terrier mix)
Keegs is 11 weeks old, Maximus is 13 weeks old and bella is 15 months old. Mack was a planned puppy if you will, we've had him for a month. Bella was rescued from the streets about 8 months ago, and Keegs has been with us for a few days. He was not a planned puppy, we just visited a place with some stinky pups and decided to take him home.
mack is nearly 5 lb, keegs is about 8 and bella is about 35lb.
if i could ask a question, is it normal for keegs to havr so much loose skin around his body, esp his neck?
anyway, hi

Hi & welcome.
What a fascinating mix of dogs! We'd love to see some pics of them.
Staff pups usually have some loose skin, but maybe Keegs has more because of whatever dog he's crossed with?

Re: New staffy mom in west virginia
Loki was a bit wrinkly when he was younger, and I've seen pictures of some other Staffs who, when puppies, were really wrinkly, so I'd imagine it's normal.
Oh, and welcome two young puppies eh? You must be mad but definitely worth it. Feel free to post pics

Re: New staffy mom in west virginia
just had the best news!! it turns out that the female dog hanging out near the puppy was not his mom. I am in contact with the owner of the father dog, he tells me that Keegs mom is an unpapered staffordshire bull terrier. So i have a purebred puppy after all!! how exciting!!
