Eating junk food for the sake of Beryls health

Well it made me and my friend laugh we were chatting away when I came out with the following
I've decided to have microwave popcorn because the popping will help desensitise Beryl to firework pops
She said it was the best excuse ever
I said it was a sign of what a responsible dog owner I am and how I have a willingness to put my own health at risk for the sake of Beryls!!!
and no we've not been drinking!!

As excuses go that is a great one, I hope you had something very alcoholic to go with the popcorn, this is just to get Beryl used to seeing you tipsy of course
