Average Life span

I have never even thought to check on this...

What is the Average life span of a well looked after Staffy ?

My sister was in a state last night saying that Titan ( rotti) was 6 and her last one died at 7 and she will be gutted when the time comes...

I know there is a Stray in our street, his owner is in Jail.. and we all feed and leave water out for him. he seems to follow the sunshine and we moved into this house 11 years ago.. he must be 12-14 by now.

the avg age is 10 to 12 years

staffy, 12-14 years i believe is the average but there are exceptions when well looked after
and Rotti 8-11 years gosh thats short.

I'd agree with Steve - 10 to 12 years, but that's just an average. If they're fit & well & don't get anything nasty in their old age, then 14 or 15 wouldn't be out of place. there's a staffy we see every morning who is 13 & still going strong!

They all differ, there was a wey older staff mentioned on here not so long back, don't think! Gee's if mine lived for 13 years I'd be forty! Scary

45!! i cant imagin that!! still be imature though!! and yeh i think the bigger the dog the shorter they live,as a rule....

Lady is 15 now and still full of beans she is a cross between a yorkie and a westi

7 is short for a Rotti I know... but Zac had 2 Cuciate ( spelling) lig done, one each leg, and he was miss treated till my sister took him in at 6 months
so we are not sure if that effected his life span
